A bi-weekly youth safe space for open conversations
Service Description
Being a t(w)een can be difficult. From dealing with emotions and hormones to having friends and being liked by everyone, to your parents not understanding you, it can be difficult to get good grades and feel like you are good enough. This bi-weekly call is designed to give you a safe space to have those conversation with other t(w)eens who are going through the same things you are AND have someone who understands give you advice on how to navigate and deal with every day life. Every other week, we will come together and figure out how to best take care of you! Topics will include: -self-esteem -self-care -time management -positive relationships & friendships -support systems -body changes & hormones -dealing with depression & anxiety -financial management -and more! At BLK, we are committed to providing a safe space for the community to gather and heal no matter your religious affiliation, sexual orientation, or gender identity. All activities are available to BIPOC + Latinx, woman-identifying, and or non-binary individuals.
